Balls to it!

The high from the game against Sevilla carried us all through to Wednesday’s Champions League second leg knockout stage clash with Olympique Lyon. On the Monday, I presented an upbeat Extra Time…..though as you can imagine, Thursday’s show was a little more subdued. On Tuesday, we presented Top Goals from the stadium and witnessed the unveiling of the official Champions League Final ball. Unfortunately, it’s one our boys will not be getting their feet on this year

The atmosphere in the Stadium on Wednesday night was amazing, especially after Ronaldo’s goal went in. But it wasn’t to be as we crashed out of the competition after failing the capitalise on our chances.

After the game, I spoke to Alvaro Arbeloa, who was genuinely gutted.

Then, as if things couldn’t get any worse, I was pickpocketed and I am now without my beloved blackberry (for the time being)! So as you can imagine, Wednesday night is a write-off in my books. Like the boys I am now concentrating on the league and I am positive that this season, I will celebrate the Primera title with Real Madrid for the third time since I came here.
